Project 366 2020 – WEEK 51

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 13th December

Here’s a picture of the grass during my walks with my dogs.

Monday, 14th December

It’s freezing cold here now but I guess this tree still thinks it’s autumn. It looked very beautiful with colorful leaves on its branches and around its trunk.

Tuesday, 15th December

Here’s how the sky looked in Asr, i.e late afternoon, time when it’s preparing to set.

Wednesday, 16th December

As I mentioned last week, I have forgotten the story of Lord of The Rings so I’m watching it now. I watched the 4-hour long Lord of The Rings – The Two Towers. I can’t believed I forgot this story, it was amazing!! The battle was awesome, and this huge buddy above, Treebeard, is so adorable!!! Talking about every random thing, spending all day deciding whether Merry and Pippin are Orcs or not. So cute, I wanted to cuddle him

Thursday, 17th December

I went hiking after a year with a few of my college friends. It was a nice fun day. We started at 9am and reached this point, Wooden Canopy, at around 11am which had an amazing view of Islamabad. Frankly, I think it would be a crime if you lived in Islamabad and did not go hiking even once……unless you’re not fit enough, which is ok.

Friday, 18th December

My phone battery has been giving me problems, dying every time I use it, so I wasn’t able to take a picture today. Or remember to. So here’s another picture of my hike yesterday. It was amazing seeing the Margalla Hills go high then low and the shadows following it as well.

Saturday, 19th December

I got Hershey’s Kisses!!! Nowadays, I have a craving for a bit of decadent chocolate a day so two days back after the hike, I bought a packet of Hershey’s from a department store, and will be munching on them in the following weeks 🙂 .

What great views on your hike. That’s funny you have Hershey’s as a decadent chocolate. Over here, Hershey’s isn’t seen as good quality chocolate at all – US chocolate isn’t hat great compared to European and British chocolate.

Those autumn leaves look so pretty. All of ours are all brown and mushy now. That’s an amazing view of Islamabad from your hike and the view of the hills is beautiful too. I’m agreeing with Emma about Hershey’s chocolate – it’s not as nice as European chocolate and British chocolate but glad you are enjoying your Hershey’s Kisses. #project366

Beautiful views on your hike. Love the colourful leaves too – it looks very autumnal. I’m not a huge fan of Hershey’s Kisses, I must admit – I bought some once and was all excited but I was disappointed in the taste. I guess I’m too used to European and British chocolate ! xxx

Wow the view is amazing! I can see why you say everyone should try it. I hope you manage to get out on some more hikes soon. I am not a fan of US chocolate if I am honest but I hope you enjoy them always nice to have a treat.

The colourful leaves look lovely! My favourite part of Autumn, although we have definitely reached winter now. It’s much colder and there is snow on the mountains. Luckily my husband is being more generous and letting us have the heating on for longer 🙂 I much prefer Cadbury’s chocolate to Hersheys. Loving your walk pictures. I want to get out more again.
