It feels awesome seeing the early years of Andy Serkis’s greatness in The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. No one could’ve acted as Smeagol/Gollum as amazingly and as intricately as he did. I have finally finished watching this trilogy, enjoying the 11 hour journey through Middle Earth. Now whenever this movie comes on TV, I will actually know what they are talking about.

Just cruising through Islamabad in a Careem cab. Weather was nice today.

I’m studying in my college library nowadays. Here’s a picture of my stroll in the park in front of the college I went to to take a break.
Wednesday, 23rd December

The weird thing is studying in the library helps me concentrate as my house doesn’t distract me, I don’t distract myself, and seeing others study as well makes me study. However, I do get bored with the silence so I listen to songs I’ve downloaded on my phone. Then I got bored with those songs so I made a playlist of local Coke Studio on YouTube to listen to. It makes studying so enjoyable that I’m almost dancing in the library while sitting (I hope no one saw me, but if they did, I don’t care 😛 )
I came across one song I’m completely hooked onto now. It’s this song, Dasht-e-Tanhai (Desert of Solitude), a poem by a famous poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, which was sung by Meesha Shafi. Even if you don’t understand the lyrics, the melody is amazing. You can listen to it here:

During my session of boredom in the library, I came across some Lord of The Rings memes. Having just seen the trilogy, the story was all fresh to me.
Furthermore, I’ll definitely say this at my future wedding.

Here’s to a football match I have no clue about.

Here’s a simple table to help anyone know the different between Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes. Or atleast it is to me as it helps me remember the basic aspects of this hormonal condition.

Glad you’ve enjoyed LOTR films and the memes, yes that would be a fab one to say at your own wedding. What do you mean you don’t understand the football????? La Liga, Spanish Football League, I love watching football. Hope you and the family have a happy new year.

I have not watched the LOTR although my husband has and loves them. It is a little lost on me, unfortunately. Sounds like the studying is going well and a good idea to study in the library it helped me when I was sitting my exams at uni.

Big fan of Smeagol here too. So perfect for the role. Well done heading to the library to study, whenever I was in my room at uni I would always find something else to do, but the library seemed to bring out the best in me!

I can’t have music on while I work or study as I get too carried away by the lyrics or tune. Sometimes I even write the lyrics in whatever I’m writing, oops! #project366
