The Muslimah Bloggers community their first ever Muslimah Bloggers Day today, and as part of that, they are sharing some of the blogs in the community and asked the bloggers why they started to blog. Here is why I, Andale Seaworne, started blogging and what I was able to receive, and still do receive, from this community:
I started writing when I was 18 in 2017 because I felt I had a lot to say, especially about Islam and my experiences as a Muslimah but I didn’t think people around me would listen, and I didn’t have enough confidence in my voice. Hence, due to this vast space where I could be myself, I’ve found people who listen and I’ve found my voice.
