Sunday, 27th September

On the way over to a family friend’s house for brunch, we stopped over at the newly furnished Cinnabon at Centaurus Mall. It looks so warm and welcoming now as compared to last time that I couldn’t help but take a picture.

When these knuckleheads use their artistic talents to patiently wait for their walk.

When some sentences tend to be lost in translation. Here’s a funny incorrect translation of one of Turgut’s dialogues in Season 2 of Ertugrul. I’m currently halfway through Season 3 but my family is watching it from the start so I watch some of it as well.
I had an exam today which went well Alhamdulillah, in spite of having barely two days after my last exam on Saturday last week. However, it’s not over yet. I still have a practical exam left on Thursday before I can cherish my freedom.
Wednesday, 30th September

In practicals, amongst being able to carry out examinations and chemical tests, we are supposed to possess visual understanding of the anatomy of the organs in the body through models and specimens. Here is a model of the kidney.
Thursday, 1st October

Alhamdulillah, my practical exam went great! I thought I’d do ok as I felt sick enough to vomit in the morning and practicals tend to fuel the anxiety within me but I managed to stay calm and do well (however it did make me overlook some crucial steps such as asking the model patient permission before inserting a catheter into it )
Friday, 2nd October

I’ve started reading the book Just Like Fire written by Sanam Asif. It has quite a medieval theme and I’m reall excited to read it, especially after seeing this map. It helps keeps the sequences in the book in synch geographically.
Saturday, 3rd October

Here’s a sweet personal note by the author of the book. I’m so excited to read it. I’ll post a review of this book as soon as I’m don reading it.

Your dogs look like acrobats, such an artistic pose! Well done on your exams! I remember feeling sick on the noon of my exams, when I was a student. The translation made me chuckle, what did he actually say? The last Russian series I watched on Amazon, had some gems of translation as well, I shouted at the screen: Nooo, that’s not what they say.

Hahaaha it must be agonising when ur own language is translated improperly. He means that you’re in a tough situation mentally

Thatโs a cute picture of your dogs waiting for their walk โ very artistic posing there! Glad the practical exam went well โ I always used to get very anxious with practical exams too and forget things like asking consent from the model! Thatโs a lovely note from the author in your book. #366daysofgratitude

I’m extremely inspired together with your writing skills and also with the structure for your blog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it yourself? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.

Thank you so much! It’s not a paid topic, it’s a project of a group of bloggers where we take a picture everyday, write something about it and post it on a weekly basis
