Project 366

Project 366 2020 – WEEK 34

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 16th August

Our class got an assignment to make the layers of the scalp, facial muscles and neurovascular supply of the face and scalp. I drew and labelled the facial muscles as I watched Aqua Man. I think I did a pretty good job.

Monday, 17th August

My family left in the afternoon for Lahore. I wouldn’t have gone if colleges were open as I had to get something from the bank on a working day. Good thing there are online classes going on so I just need my laptop, or even just my phone. Check out the sky, doesn’t it look great? You’ll be seeing more sky pictures below.

Tuesday, 18th August

Welcome to my Heaven!!! My sibling was searching for a book in Readings while I roamed around the store, gazing from one shelf to the next with excitement. I didn’t buy anything but it felt great.

Wednesday, 19th August

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a comfortable time in Lahore as it was too hot even inside the house. We took the dogs with us which turned out to be a big mistake as those furry animals kept on panting for weeks where baths and pounds of water would not be enough. Because of all that, I couldn’t concentrate on my studies and felt really panicky and stressed out. We returned to Islamabad on my insistence.

I didn’t want it to happen and I’m usually a patient person but I guess I’ve become too attached to home that staying for a day anywhere else makes me panicky. Here’s a snap of the Sun from the motorway.

Thursday, 20th August

I’m back home and I feel sane now and the dogs are enjoying themselves. Hi, sky!

Friday, 21st August

It rained in the morning so by my late afternoon walk, the weather was sunny but not hot, with a nice clean breeze. By the evening, the clouds snatched much of the light.

Saturday, 22nd August

I came across this local TV show called Churails, meaning Witches, which is about a group of women who go undercover, gathering intel to fight for justice against abusive and cheating men. I’ve been really excited to watch it because of its new and interesting story and because of its lead actresses, and I kept on telling Mama about it. We saw two episodes of it and loved it. I’m excited for what’s next to come.

Your diagram looks brilliant hope you get a good mark for it. I also love a book shop, especially in the travel section. I have not been to one for so long… although with the boys going back to school soon I will have a morning a week to myself. Maybe that’s where I should head.

Been hearing about that show and keep thinking to watch it. Might give it a go!

Wow that is a lot of muscles in the face!

Sorry to hear you weren’t comfortable in Lahore.

That’s a lot of muscles. Sorry to hear about the trip to Lahore. I think it will be difficult to be away from home when I do start to travel again.

You did a great job, drawing all the facial muscles. Sorry your trip to Lahore turned out to be quite stressful for you. I think many people are anxious now about leaving home. The TV show sounds interesting. I wish my Mum would stay with us, so that we could watch some show together, I miss that.

Love the drawing – very impressed that you could do that while watching TV ! Sorry to hear you felt uncomfortable in Lahore. The heat is certainly hard to deal with (we had a heatwave a couple of weeks ago and I just didn’t want to go out !), plus the residual fear and worry about coronavirus lurking out there. Aaah when will life get back to normal ?!

Churails certainly sounds interesting and glad you enjoyed the episodes you have watched! Sorry to hear you didn’t have the greatest time in Lahore, nor the dogs! I am with you though, it just feels uncomfortable and unnatural to be outside of your own surroundings these days. How this year has changed our lives!
Such a fab drawing of muscles in our faces etc, I wouldn’t even know where to start! Hope you are having a lovely week! Sim

I’m impressed by your drawing of all the facial muscles – there are certainly a lot of them to label! Sorry that your trip to Lahore left you feeling anxious. Lots of lovely photos of different skies this week. #project366

We have a charity book shack near us and I love it for being surrounded by books but they are all higgeldy piggeldy so you can’t find a title easily. Love the diagram of the facial muscles (I only had to learn the bones for my dental nurse training) #project366
