Project 366 2020 – WEEK 33

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 9th August

I made Baked Alaska today!! I had put the cake in the freezer to freeze for a day or so. Today, I whipped up some meringue, smothered it over the cake and put it all to bake for about ten minutes till the peaks of the meringue become golden. It tasted delicious, although a bit too sweet that one slice is more than enough.

Monday, 10th August

When the dogs hear someone walking outside the room……..

Tuesday, 11th August

My sibling downloaded a cute game on PS4 called Fallout. It’s like the avatar version of Takishi’s Castle and WipeOut, if you’ve seen those shows. Here’s a prepped avatar. It looks so cute, and when you play with hundreds of other avatars online, there’s too much cuteness!!!!

Wednesday, 12th August

I finally got The Last of Us Part II!!!!! I’ve just started playing it. I don’t want to tell much incase I spoil it for anyone. Watch out for my review of the game once I’ve finished it

Thursday, 13th August

Here are some useful motivational writings I came across when attending a Virtual National General Assembly session of IFMSA Pakistan. I don’t know about you but I feel very inspired.

Friday, 14th August

Today is Pakistan’s 73rd anniversary of Independence!! Someone shared this interesting looking map of a variety of fabrics and handicrafts in different regions of Pakistan which I felt like sharing here.

Saturday, 15th August

When you take your dogs to the vet for tick grooming but end up only needing some anti-tick spray. When you’re craving for ice cream but they only acceot cash instead of credit card. When you want ice cream but end up getting KFC instead.

However, I did come across these interesting looking salt lamps at Safa Gold Mall.

Your baked alaska looks brilliant! The salt lamps look fabulous. I hope the KFC was nearly as nice as the ice cream! Love the photo of the dogs, you can definitely tell that they are listening.

How gorgeous is that Baked Alaska! I’m not even sure if I’ve ever tried making it, if I did, that must have been such a long time ago. I bet my boys would love it.
Your dogs are too cute, looking at the door. Love the embroidery/fabric map, it’s beautiful. I can see why you find those quotes inspirational.
