Peace and blessings be upon you all

The start of the week was blessed with Mama’s delicious Singaporean Rice. I’d eat up the entire bowl if I forgot I had a family too.

People in Pakistan have gotten crazy over the Turkish Drama Dirilis Ertugrul that the main lead who plays Ertugrul, Engin Altan, and Ertugrul’s Alp Turgut, played by Cengiz Coskun, were asked to give interviews. Tonight, Cengiz or Turgut’s interview was taken live. To me the host was asking very basic questions and they kept playing the show in the center of the screen, giving out spoiler treats to everyone. I’m on Season 3 so I’m avoiding watching it. In addition, adding the cherry to the top, the host questioned about a spoiler in the movie which really made me want to bang my head on the wall. Like, chill, host!
Nevertheless, it was nice to see what the actor looked like, his experiences on set and what he’s up to.

I attended a small outdoor event of my friend’s engagement which was beautifully arranged with not a lot of people. To maintain anonymity, check out the fairy lights and lantern!

I loved reading this at the start of Dora and The Lost City of Gold. I used to watch Dora when I was very little and loved it. The only amount of Spanish I know is what I’ve learnt in the Nickelodeon show. Although I consider Dora blind now, I loved the movie. It was a sweet trip down memory lane and a nice twist to an exciting show. Isabela Merced did a great job!

Tip from this green tea is Go for a walk with friends. This is a cheat picture from the day of the engagement.

I’ve prepared the ice cream cake for the Baked Alaska. It needs to freeze for a day before I whip the meringue and spread it over the cake. Since it was prepped after 12am, you’ll see it again on Sunday.

Here’s my gorgeous attempt on making macaroons. What do you think? It makes you want to dive in, right?

Ahh! Both of my girls used to love Dora when they were little and loved the movie. x

A busy week in the kitchen by the looks of things! The Singapore rice looks tasty. Never managed to get my son into Dora, but I liked the idea of him learning the language.

LOL that’s exactly how my macaroons come out too ! Hopefully they taste nice though? The Singaporean rice looks very tasty. Aaah I remember Dora ! I hate journalists who reveal spoilers in interviews – not fair ! The engagement looks lovely – gorgeous lights.

I’ve never attempted macaroons so you are one up on me, but I’ve heard they are a nightmare to do well #366

I’ve never made a baked alaska sounds fun to do and bet it’s worth the effort. You nust have inherited your mother’s love of cooking the rice looks gorgeous and I think I may have been tempted to eat it all also

Macaroons is complicated. Baked Alaska is quite simple but you have to move fast so the ice cream doesn’t melt so soon

OOh the Singaporean Rice looks lovely!
I am currently on season 4 of Ertugral and taking a break. Just so many episodes.
I have never attempted to make macaroons as heard they can be hard to get right.
