Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem
Peace and blessings be upon you all
Last week, I mentioned that there was a case of Corona Virus in my colony. However, it turns out he didn’t have a case but because someone in his office did so all the office workers were tested and their families homes were sealed. His test came out to be negative so his family isn’t sealed and there’s no need to worry yet. Thank you all for sharing your concerns; I really appreciate it.

I came across these lovely ayats from Surah Ibrahim/Abraham while reading the Quran. Here, it says that a believer is like a tree whose roots hold firmly into the ground and whose branches reach to the sky, giving fruits all the time.
How is the believer similar to a tree? The believer who stands firm will not be swayed by the distractions, trials and evils of the world, as his roots hold the soil firmly, deeply rooted into faith.
The believers who does good deeds will have them multiplied like the branches of the trees grow and divide high into the sky, and as trees give fruits that benefit animals and people not himself, his good deeds will impact and benefit others.
As the fruits give off seeds and give rise to more populations of trees, a believer will give rise to a legacy of many believers.
As a tree takes its time (years!) To grow, transform and evolve from a seed to a stalk to finally a tree, a believer will go through multitudes of evolution and transformation to become what Allah wants him to be.

Since I was unable to find the proper link to watch Tanhaiyaan, we decided to watch another series from the good old days called An Kahi (Untold). It’s a very humorous and entertaining drama, the dialogues are articulated so beautifully and the characters are amazing, especially Timmy! We watch this everyday day after our Iftar meal.

Here’s to another late night meal or Sehri to prepare for the next day’s fast.
Wednesday, 6th May

We had khao suey again, courtesy of Mother Dearest!!
Thursday, 7th May

We’ve had plenty of takeaway pizzas so why not make your own pizza? I didn’t make it though, Mama did but it was delicious!!! Homemade pizza definitely tastes better and is more wholesome than restaurant pizzas, in my opinion.

I’ve officially made a logo for my blog!! I’ve been wondering for a while that my blog wasn’t emphasising on the concept of bubbles as much; so it doesn’t get any bubblier than this!
Saturday, 9th May

My summer vacations have started!! Although there’s not much difference as I’m stuck at home but it means I have time to do all the things I want, which include finally completing Season 2 of the Turkish series, Diriliş: Ertuğrul (Resurrection Ertugrul). I watched the second last episode today, one final episode to go! To know more about this series, click here for my review.

Kahi sounds fun, I love watching old TV series, although the kids normally turn their noses up as the special effects are rubbish

It must be nice that your studies are finished for now, even if you can’t go out and do much. That’s a relief that the person locally isn’t infected with coronavirus after all. Your pizza looks very nice!

Glad to hear that the test in the colony proved to be negative, it must be a relief. The quote is beautiful, and the parable of the goodly word/tree could be interpreted as related not just to religion but also to the kindness/goodly words bring comfort. Love your new logo, it’s stylish and elegant. Your Mum’s pizza looks delicious!
