PROJECT 366 2020 – WEEK 17

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 19th April

Today I had a 3-hour long day of shopping, having to get essentials from Al-Fatah in Centaurus (along with the spring foam pan for baking cakes I got to fix my mistake of the cheesecake last time) and got some Hardees from the Drive-Thru because Lockdown is increasing my cravings.

Monday, 20th April

The dogs were playing with a weird, sticky, gooey and smelly shopper which I had to snatch away from them. This is how they look like when you take something precious from them.

Tuesday, 21st April

I forgot to take a picture today so here’s a picture of a roundabout between F-10 & G-10……nearby McDonald’s.

Wednesday, 22nd April

Here’s another picture of my fluffy pets to bless your eyes.

Thursday, 23rd April

Recently, I had a mood of watching 1980’s Pakistani dramas because:

1)according to my parents they are very good as compared to our current majority of misogynistic dramas, and

2)the news shows alot of famous comedians, actors, writers and directors who have passed away due to old age and how people remember them. However, I don’t know anything about them and I feel bad.

Hence, since I’m stuck at home, I Hence, I might as well know about my past. I saw an episode of it and it was great! The acting, the dialogue, the humour! Unfortunately, there’s only one full episode lf Tanhaiyaan (Loneliness) available. If any of you know where I can watch the rest of the episodes, let me know ASAP!

Friday, 24th April

The moon has been sighted (although I couldn’t find it) ! A happy Ramadan Mubarak to all the Muslims in every corner of the world. May Allah make this blessed month easy for us especially during the COVID-19 Lockdown, may He accept our fasts and worship and may He forgive our sins and shortcomings. Ameen.

Saturday, 25th April

In Ramadan, it is preferred that Muslims read through the whole of the Holy Quran with understanding and with the aim to apply the teachings to daily life.. The Quran can be divided into 30 parts or pa’rahs so that means one can finish one pa’rah per day. Hopefully I’m able to do so.

I loved some of the old tv programmes but they do make you laugh when you see the way we spoke and what was acceptable then that is not now.
That seems to be breaking the Quran down into bite size chunks

Ramadan Mubarak! Reading the Quran for a whole month is a great idea, as it allows you to absorb what you’re reading and ponder about it.
Your puppies are so cute. I bet they’re lovely cuddly companions.
I also enjoy watching some of the old films. The acting is often exceptional.
