Peace and blessings be upon you all
I missed out Week 15 because I only took pictures on two days which I’ll add to this week, so here goes nothing:
Sunday, 12th April

I’d prefer not to go out to the department store but we needed essentials, I needed to get ingredients to make a cheesecake and my family was craving for KFC near the store so going out was necessary.
Monday. 13rd April

I made a cheesecake!!! It turned out to be delicious, however I realized when I was baking that I didn’t have the spring foam pan but a regular cake pan and when you flip a cheesecake like a regular cake, it becomes a disaster. Unfortunately, I made do with the cake pan and half of it got flipped over the other half so when I put the cake on the plate, half of it looked weird but the other was alright. And delicious.
Tuesday, 14th April

When you’re green and you’re about to win at Ludo but so is your friend in yellow.
Wednesday, 15th April

Mama made a butterscotch dessert with cream and soaked bread which was very sweet yet delicious.
Thursday, 16th April

There’s nothing like a soothing dose of foamy coffee.
Friday, 17th April

This week, we’ve started the Neuroscience and Behavior module. On weekdays, we have two sessions per day; either two lectures or one lecture and one discussion section. We’re learning about the spinal cord this week which I find very interesting as to how all the neuronal cell bodies are aggregated in the grey matter and how all the neuronal axons/fibres are aggregated in the white matter, how neurons are organised into tracts that go to and from the brain and how those tracts cross over to the opposite thing, hence proving that the left hemisphere of the brain controls the sensations and functions of the right side of the body and vice versa.
Along with the college lecture, Dr Najeeb’s lectures are very informative and easy to understand which is important as this module is tough modul according to my seniors.
Saturday, 18th April

Another rainy day here in Islamabad.

My fella has been doing the shopping but I have finally managed to get a delivery slot which will be coming next week.
That cheesecake looks so good.
We have had some lovely weather here and I am hoping for some rain soon to water the garden. x

Well done on making a cheesecake! Going shopping isn’t much fun at the moment, but I had to go this week. Your studies sound very interesting this week.

The cheesecake and butterscotch dessert both look delicious and glad that your cheesecake tasted good even if the cake pan caused a little hiccup there. Seeing your photo from your neuroscience and behaviour module took me back to my uni days – my 4th year dissertation was neuroscience-based – something to do with dopamine and gamma receptors but it was 18 years ago and I’ve forgotten most of it now! Glad that the lectures are easy to understand and good luck with the module. #project366

we have had no proper rain here for weeks, but could do with some.
The brain and body really are incredible. Glad you are enjoying the lectures
I have never made cheesecake, but yes would be easier with the correct tin

Ooh that cheesecake looks good. We had that for tea today. It always goes down well in our house.

It’s not rained here for a few days and I’m loving it to be honest. Wow the human body is incredible aren’t they? Glad the lectures are going well xx

The cheese cake looks yummy, no one really cares about presentation. It’s interesting to see familiar brands in your supermarket shop, I’ve now lost track of what is made locally or is imported these days

Lots of lovely food pictures this week especially the cheesecake (despite the tin). Glad you are still able to learn.

The cheesecake looks delicious, so creamy. I now have a big craving for a slice of cheesecake, which I love but don’t cook often. Your Mum’s dessert sounds tasty too. We had a couple of rainy days last week, and I was glad about it, as the garden needed it after so many days of sunny dry weather.

Oh I love cheesecake! It is all about the taste! The new module sounds interesting it is good you can continue your lessons in this crazy time. I must admit we are trying not to go to the shops. My husband will go once a week but he needs a list last week was a bit of a disaster! Take care and love the new lighter coloured blog.

Thank you so much, I wanted to make some changes to make it look more interesting. Yeah considering you’ve all been ill its best to take precautions.

I want to have a go at vegan cheesecake but too scared! I am struggling to find things to photograph everyday as each day is so similar! #project366
