Here’s the description of the theme of SIST 2020: Acts of Kindness. I’m one of the competition event heads of this event. I’m really excited for this event; I hope our hard work pays off and it turns out great.

We celebrated a friend’s surprise birthday party today at a new Chinese restaurant that’s opened up in Beverly Centre, F-6. Actually, we were supposed to go to Remanence but we found out it was permanently closed and replaced by Wok Bae. Booking somewhere else at such short notice was not possible and it was a shame since my friend didn’t like Chinese…….
The food was great or alright. I’m not a good judge of food but we all had a great time.

I donated blood for the first time today!! A foundation that donates blood to children with thalassemia came to our college and requested us to donate blood. I went there at around 2pm and got my blood tested which showed I had Hb 13.3g/dl which meant I can donate.
Then they gave me a cupcake and juice to have before and after donating. It went alright Alhamdulillah and I made sure the needle was sterile. A few friends of mine were surprised as to why I was so calm after giving blood for the first time.

Here’s a cross section and luminal view of our digestive tract which is shown in four parts from up to down: esophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine.

My family has another trip to Franco’s again! Their steak and parmo’s always tend to drag us there one way or another.
Friday, 7th February

We’re enroute to Kamra with a kinor detour to Centaurus mall to get a gift for our friends who have invited us over for dinner.

Here’s a picture of the staircase in the lodge we were living in in Kamra which I really enjoy looking at.

SIST2020 sounds like a great event and I love the focus on acts of kindness. A huge well done on donating blood for the first time. Love that staircase in the lodge, what an interesting design. #project366

Love the staircase, a lot of character.
If going out with a group I always try and push for a Chinese as very little food in there I have allergies to.

Ooh I love chinese food for a treat, although lots of people don’t. That staircase is cool. Well done on donating blood.

That staircase is stunning! Good luck for your event, I hope it goes well. What a shame your friend doesn’t like Chinese food! Well done on giving blood. I must admit it’s something I’ve never done, although my dad and brother-in-law give regularly.

That’s an amazing staircase, looks like something out of a film set. Glad the blood donation went well. I tried once but was really unwell afterwards so not able to again #366

Such a shame your friend doesn’t like chinese food!
I want to donate blood but I really don’t like needles and they often struggle to find my vein which then makes me feel faint! Might try soon.
Loved shopping at Centaurus mall when we last came to Pakistan. And that staircase is amazing

Big well done on being a blood donor. Embarrassingly, I often faint at the sight of my own blood. What a shame your friend didn’t enjoy the Chinese meal. The staircase is full of character. Good luck with the event organising!
