Project 366 2020 – WEEK 5

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 26th January

Season 2 of Manifest has been released! Each episode is released on each Monday and I’m really excited because the mystery of the flight is getting even spookier and interesting.

Monday, 27th January

You know the moment when you already have a couple of books to read yet you buy more? I’m one of those kind of people who feels this. Hence, I ordered two books:

Alif because I’m currently watching its TV show and it’s amazing!! Therefore, the book should be even better!

The God of Small Things, because I’ve yet to read books by Arundhati Roy. The description of this book appealed to me a bit more than Ministry of Utmost Happiness so I thought I’d try out this book and see why Arundhati is so well-known.

Wednesday, 28th January

I’m having my daily doze of green tea today as I wait for my lecture to start. Great reminder: Avoid sugary and deep fried food.

Thursday, 29th January

Here’s a picture of another stroll of mine through the park in front of my college. It was cloudy then and a bit windy but peaceful and calm.

Friday, 30th January

I met The Odd Muslimah today! I wanted to meet her for a long time as her writing is amazing! This is the first time I met a blogger and Alhamdulillah we had a great time and I learnt so much about blogging, religion, living abroad, parenting and life in general. She also gave my a few gifts including a book and since I love books, I loved it! Do check out her work.

Saturday, 1st February

Patience is a trait of mine I seem to naturally have which has helped me alot in many situations; in avoiding and not initiating unnecessary battles and keeping my hope strong. Such reminders are a ray of light guiding me as to why I do what I do.

I hope you enjoy The God of Small Things. It’s a very good book. I read it a number of years ago and whilst I’d struggle to relate the story now, I did enjoy it.

I’m like you in that I always have to buy more books even when I’ve got some waiting to be read. On average I like to have four books waiting to read – if it gets to seven or eight it’s too much, but if I only have two I worry that I will run out! Patience is a very good quality to have. I’m not a particularly patient person myself.

Not seen Manifest….will try to watch it!

I just started watching Alif yesterday after my cousins wife recommended it. On episode 3 at the moment!

Oh how lovely that you got to meet The Odd Muslimah!

The God of Small Things sounds like a good book. Looks like a lovely place to walk around your college. How lovely to meet up with another blogger. Patience is something that I’d definitely like to have more of! #project366

Hmmmm not so sure I would like a lecture on my coffee cup. I don’t like green tea on its own but currently have a green tea and peppermint mix which I really like.
Loved Manifest Season 1, can’t wait for season 2.

Like Mary said, you can never have enough books. I am forever buying books, even if I have plenty of unread ones at home. I haven’t read The God of small things, but know it was a bestseller. Haven’t heard of Manifest, will check it out, if it’s on Netflix.

I have heard Manifest is good but I am kind of scared it will put me off flying so haven’t watched it. Green tea is so good isn’t it?
