Project 365 2019 – WEEK 42

Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem

Peace and blessings be upon you all

Sunday, 13th October

This article came up about a movie being made about the historical Islamic poet, Rumi. I’m starting to wonder too if this is some whitewashing taking place.

Monday, 14th October

I’ve started going to the library today to prepare for my professional exams. The library helps me focus.

Tuesday, 15th October

Here’s a picture from my physiology book. This shows a disorder called Cheyn-Stokes breathing where there’s a period of hyperventilating followed by a period of no breathing at all, then hyperventilation again and the cycle goes on. This is due to the brain not registering changes in blood CO2 & O2 levels fast enough to control breathing rate or blood not reaching the brain fast enough.

Wednesday, 16th October

Some of many books in my library.

Thursday, 17th October

The ceiling light says hi.

Friday, 18th October

There’s a cat that roams around outside the library, comes to you to be pet, follows you to the praying area and back, follows you wherever you walk, and tries to eat your food. This is that cat who sat on my lap for half an hour when I waited to be picked up and taken home.

One easy way of identifying the types of vertebrae is this: all cervical vertebrae except two (located in the neck) always looks like a smiley face

Well that is very interesting about the vertebrae, I never would have realised that! It sounds like studying in the library is working well for you. You have so much to learn! The cat looks lovely.

What a bizarre choice for Di Caprio to play Rumi. Couldn’t they find an Iranian actor for the part?!
The cat sounds friendly. I also found the library a good place to study in the past, nobody bothers you, like at home.
