My friend gave her MDCAT test this morning (a test for medical colleges) so we went out to help her relax from the tension of the test. We went to three dessert places in Beverly Centre in F-6 sector: Burning Brownie, Karamel & Crema. This picture was taken in Karamel, a small place that serves amazing cookies! We had one with ice cream.

This is an instrument used to measure peak expiratory rate flow (the maximum volume of air expired per minute). You’re meant to inhale deeply and then blow hard through the plastic device inserted below. This forces the red dial upwards. Your volume rate is normal if it is in the green zone or close to 400L/min and is low in abnormal obstructive conditions such as asthma and emphysema. It was alot of fun doing it. Mine was 370L/min.

Today we presented our diagnosis and differentials of the case given to us previously. The heading is so because the case involved a man driving a car who collided with a speeding car. The patient had traumatic pneumothorax. I presented some part of it. I was very nervous and my heart was racing but I think I pulled it off.

I had a module exam today so was unable to remember to take pictures that I wanted so I took pictures of today.
After giving the exam, my friends and I went out to have lunch at Remanence. They have an elegant interior and their food was delicious. I’m beginning to have cravings for peach iced tea now.
I had some stuffed chicken.

I slept quite early yesterday as I was dead tired and had to force myself out of the living room couch. Today is a lazy relaxing day, watching some Dirilis Ertugrul and this movie called Equilibrium. It was quite interesting and basically shows how people would live if they had no emotions at all and how that becomes conflicting with one’s logic.
