Bismillah Hir Rahman Ir Raheem
Peace and blessings be upon you all.
Sunday, 12th May
I went here on the weekend for Taraweeh prayers. I don’t know Arabic so much of the time I don’t know what the Imam is reciting but listening to the recitation of the Quran and praying with my fellow sisters standing side by side, shoulder to shoulder with me gives me a comforting sense of pride in my faith and unity, and in this blessed month, I feel less alone.
Monday, 13th May
It has been cloudy today but the Sun made everything seem so yellow and bright, even during Maghrib time when the Sun sets.
Tuesday, 14th May
Here are a few amongst many flowers I come across in my usual strolls in my colony. One thing I really like about being a part of Project 365 is that it makes me exciting and thankful about every little thing around me that I didn’t pay much attention to.
Wednesday, 15th May
It got pretty dark and windy today as compared to the cloudy Monday and it became more darker and Maghrib than usual. But the weather was beautiful and all the leaves and trees embraced it amazingly.

BEHOLD!!!!!! A pillow.
Friday, 17th May
Usually, my family doesn’t go out for Iftar because restaurants only serve buffets at the time and when we eat one or two pakorays, we suddenly start feeling full. But my brother was really hungry so we went to Franco’s in F-7 Markaz.
The buffet was quite costly (as are all buffets) but the food tasted great. There was garlic rice, mongolian beef, fried fish, ‘no leave’ chicken, grilled chicken in BBQ sauce with fried vegetables and mashed potatoes. I didn’t focus on dessert because it looked alright and my stomach was full.
Saturday, 18th May
Because in this rushing, difficult and hectic life, one must stop and admire the beautiful world they are surrounded by and be thankful for all that they have been given by Allah 😁

I don’t think it matters if you don’t know Arabic, the fact you were at the prayers will probably mean so much.
The pillow picture did make me chuckle. How random.
The food looks and sounds delicious and it’s making me feel hungry. x

The flowers are beautiful. I have found the same with 365 and take much more notice of my surroundings, although for some reason never seem to manage to take a photo on a Monday!!

I have been wanting to go out for Iftaar but my husband doesn’t eat much so would be a waste of money! The food looks good though.
